Who doesn’t love an ultra fudgy chocolate fudge cake? I mean really what’s not to love? Imagine the most decadent chocolate sponge cake paired with the silkiest chocolate buttercream, it’s what dreams are made of (well mine are anyway.*)
*ok the ones where I’m not being chased for hours. Or at an airport where I’ve forgotten my passport, all my luggage, and oh yeah I’m also wearing no clothes.
Q. What’s even better than a refreshing glass of Aperol Spritz? A. Aperol Spritz in a super easy, super delicious no-bake cheesecake form.
I would happily eat this Aperol Spritz cheesecake every single day. It has a crunchy, buttery sweet digestive base, the creamiest no-bake filling and a totally satisfying sunny Aperol spritz topping. As far as I’m concerned makes the perfect grown-up dessert!
Having been to Barcelona a few times before, I’m only slightly ashamed to say I spent most of my time there doing nothing remotely cultural. Instead I spent my time lying in the sun and eating as much delicious food and drink as possible. My favourite kind of holiday.
I’m ignoring the fact we’re fast heading into autumn (it’s still warm and sunny in London for now, yay!) And still dreaming of summery drinks on roof terraces. This sangria is totally perfect for that.
I have made a lot of chocolate chip cookies in my time, but this is the recipe that I’m now totally obsessed with. These salted milk chocolate chunk cookies are that perfect mix of thin and crispy around the edges, and ultra soft and chewy in the middle. I cannot get enough.
These cookies are made with the basically magical combo of brown sugar and brown butter. Then studded with giant chocolate chips and topped with flaky sea salt.
This is all time favourite banana loaf cake recipe. It results in super moist, super delicious cake. (That I was clearly got way too excited to ice and get in my mouth asap, hence the slippy-off icing.)
These blondies are super fudgy and incredibly moreish. Made with lots of brown butter & brown sugar, and studded with white chocolate and jammie dodgers, these bars don’t pretend to have anything remotely healthy about them. They are however worth every single delicious calorie.
I like to under-bake these to ensure optimum fudginess, but if you prefer a cakier texture, just add another 10 minutes to the baking time.
Dangerously easy and extremely moreish, these no-bake malteser bars have an addictive chewy texture. Theyâre filled with maltesers, crushed digestives and smooth milk chocolate and topped with a sweet white chocolate layer.
I first tried something similar at the delicious Cloud 9 bakery in Brighton, and then was desperate to replicate them. I’m happy to say these come pretty close.
They only take about 10 minutes to prepare, you just have two challenges afterwards – patiently waiting for them to chill, and then not eating the whole pan.
Just having a few days of gorgeous warm sunny weather had me inspired to get working on summery desserts. And this kiwi & raspberry pavlova has been one of my favourites.
This is really the perfect summer dessert â super light meringue, crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, filled with lashings of whipped vanilla cream and topped with fresh berries and kiwi fruit
Chocolate + salted caramel = winning combination for a reason. This is a super decadent, super delicious tart filled with the best rich salted caramel filling and topped with a thick glossy chocolate ganache.
